HELLO, IM ROBIN

I became fascinated by all things birth and postpartum during my first pregnancy in 2015. I decided shortly thereafter that I wanted to support others on their journey to parenthood. When my husband’s job brought us to Oregon in early 2016, I closed my vegan bakery to pursue this newfound passion and career path.

I completed my Human Lactation education and certification through the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, including clinical training at Salem Pediatric Clinic, Legacy Health and Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic, before sitting for my board exam in 2019. I also hold Bachelors degrees in Communication Studies and Journalism from California State University, Long Beach.

I am a birth and postpartum doula and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) licensed in the state of Oregon. My training, education, and experience includes extensive infant feeding support, milk donation, craniosacral therapy, childbirth hypnosis, birth planning, Spinning Babies, perinatal mood disorders, placenta medicine, baby wearing, and more. I also work part time as a lactation consultant at Legacy Health.

Helping new families adjust to life with a new baby (read: snuggling new babies) is quite literally the best job! On days off, you will likely find me browsing the farmers market, exploring nature, dancing to live music, wine-tasting, and enjoying my home in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, two daughters, and rescue pup.
